With an expanding portfolio of projects, we're looking for an experienced CIVIL FOREMAN to join our dynamic team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a FOREMAN, you will be responsible for the seamless execution of civil construction projects. You'll lead and coordinate on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the client's satisfaction.
Applicants must hold a valid work visa or equivalent Australian work rights to be considered for this position.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supervising and managing daily on-site operations, including pre-start meetings and ongoing team coordination.
Planning and executing project requirements, including labour, plant and equipment, materials, and subcontractor management.
Reporting to senior management on project progress, resource allocation, schedules, costs, and any potential challenges.
Ensuring compliance with Sunshine Coast Civil's Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies and procedures.
Leading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding results.
Managing subcontractor schedules and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Overseeing site inductions for new staff and subcontractors.
Approving team timesheets and ensuring accurate records.
Conducting plant and equipment prestart checks to maintain operational standards.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
To excel in this role, you'll need:
Proven experience managing subdivision/commercial and civil pipework projects.
Essential experience supervising subdivision developments and civil pipework projects is required for this position.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and direct teams.
Demonstrated experience supervising teams of 6-10 people is required.
Expertise in handling challenging terrains and technically demanding sites.
At least 5+ years of Supervision experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in programming and subcontractor management.
A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.
